Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
ISA 53:4:
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
ISA 53:4:
Amen hallelujah
This verse has so much to say. The fact is so clear to me that the death of Jesus Christ was not a penal substitute, but that Jesus perfected the human character and nature. He became just so that He could now be the justafier. He can now be the second Adam, our Father. He offers Himself to is. We partake of Him. He fulfilled the law of LOVE. His death was the pinnacle of selfless Love. God needs nothing, WE DO! JESUS.
